55+ BC Games - Sprint Distance Maps

SWIM COURSE
**Refer to course map and Key Race Information

Sprint distance = 750 meters
Pool Size = 25 meters length
One lap/one lane (swimming to the end and back) = 50 meters

The pool will be split into 6 lanes.  Each heat of approximately 10 athletes will be organized according to your swim time (min. per 100 meters).  Athletes will enter the water individually, approximately every 10 seconds, swim up one side of the lane and down the other side before swimming under the rope.  Repeat this in each lane.

The swim will start in lane 4.  You'll then swim in lanes 5 and 6.  Once finished these first 3 laps, you'll get out of the water and walk quickly to lane 1.  Swim lanes 1 - 6 and repeat once more for a total of 750 meters.
