Open Water Swimming

Paul Lake Non Hosted Open Water Swims

July 1/2008 Take place Saturday Mornings at 8:00am.  The group meets at the Husky gas station on Highway 5 and Paul lake Road and then carpools to the side of the lake where the private homes are located.  There is a small park area there with a beach and outhouse and a parking lot.  We have permission to use a private dock near the parking lot.  Length of swim can vary depending on your abilities and goals.  These workouts are a gathering of people with various goals including tris, open water swims and just for fun.  Wetsuits helpful except for the bravest who can handle the water temperature in late season.

July 7/2008 Second open water gathering each week Tuesdays at Lac Le Jeune.    Meet at Runners Sole at 5:30pm for group departure.  Or 6pm swim departure at the Lac Le Jeune provincial campground parking lot.

Thanks to Monica Hall from Runners Sole and Shaun Frein for getting this group organized!!

Post your workout on our message board or view the message board for swim partners or email info@trytri.org and I will try and make sure people are connected for workouts.
