I am also offering a “girls” program through Parks & Recreation which you can get information about on line.  It is not in the hard copy of the guide as I did not get it confirmed in time so you will need to go onto the Parks & Recreation website to check it out.  This program is something I am very passionate about being a woman and having had my own struggles growing up.  The program is geared to ages 10-13 and will run on Thursdays from 3:30-4:45 at the Tournament Capital Centre.

“Fabulous Fit Females”

This program will encompass fitness, nutrition, self-esteem and positive body image.  There will be “homework” to do each week and the girls will have a great “handbook” when the course is finished.  We will be getting out to do some hiking, grocery touring, etc. and will also do some fitness in the Tournament Capital Centre as well as some theory each week.

The course will run 8 weeks and will begin the first week in April.
