Spring Sprint
Triathletes (since you have finished a race, you can now call yourself a Triathlete!)
On behalf of the Kamloops Triathlon Club and the race committee, I would like to thank you for participating in our 2nd annual Taboo Cycles Spring Sprint Triathlon. It took many hours to plan the event and watching you complete the race was the ultimate reward! Before the race started, I saw many frantic, anxious adults - scared to death. It brought to mind a phrase from the Olympic Creed - Live a life less ordinary. Congratulations! You lived a life less ordinary!!
I warned participants at the newbie meeting held the previous Tuesday that most of the racers would be beginners but there would be a select few that would come with their expensive bikes, all geared up, streamlined and mentally focused to race. Thank you, experienced Triathletes for showing the newbies what could be in store for them in the future!
Our event could not be possible without our incredible sponsors. We were able to offer amazing awards and draw prizes. Most of you walked away with a gift.
Please support our sponsors with your business!!

Our race was safe and fun because of the dedication and attitude of over 40 of our volunteers. In your future race career, consider volunteering and reward yourself by sharing in a racers excitement, pain and accomplishment!
Lastly, we are open to suggestions for change and improvement - email in anytime and your suggestion will be heard.
I hope to see you next year!
