KTC Indoor  Triathlon

​​Come and join us January 25, 2026!  Registration opening October 14, 2025!  

​This triathlon is for anyone 4 years and older.  It's suited for athletes new to the sport and those looking for a challenge.  This is the ONLY sanctioned indoor triathlon in BC and one of only a couple indoor events in Canada.

​New in 2026!  

We've added an individual Sprint distance (750m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run).  The race format is comprised of a pool swim, smart trainer ride (virtual racing mode) and indoor track run. To add to the fun, you'll be swimming around buoys, similar to an open water swim (rather than in lanes).  Spots for the sprint distance are limited.

The Super Sprint distance is being held again for both Individuals and Relay Teams! The race format is similar to the sprint race, except the distances are:  300m swim, 10 km bike, 2 km run.  Join the high speed racing!   

There will also be an Aqua-Run for youth ages 4 - 11! (35m swim, 300m run)

What do we provide?  We provide the trainer, stand to hold your phone or other device, software and the route you'll be riding (thanks to Fulgaz!).  No bike?  No problem . . . let us know when you register and we'll do our best to accommodate with a Smart Stationary Bike.  **A limited number are available.  

Great prizes!  Draw prizes for participants in the Aquathlon!  Register for the Sprint or Super Sprint distance race and your name will be entered into the draw for a Bike Fit from KAMLOOPS BIKE FIT; VO2 Max Testing by Joint Effort Rehab and from Kamloops Tribalance Triathlon Coaching you will have the opportunity to win Virtual Stroke Analysis and Run Analysis.

Refreshments are provided to participants courtesy of BLACKWELL DAIRY and SAVE ON FOODS Sahali.  Thanks to PITA PIT Sahali and TIM HORTONS Sahali for providing our volunteers with refreshments and lunch. 
 
Registration Options:
  • Sprint Individual - Ages 12 & up
  • Super Sprint Individual - Youth ages 12-18
  • Super Sprint Individual - Adult 19+  
  • Super Sprint Relay Team (per team) - Ages 10 & up  (Up to 3 people per team, each person does not do the whole triathlon; instead, they only complete a minimum of 1 segment; ex. on a 3 person team, each completes either the swim, bike, or run; a 2 person team could have 1 person complete the swim and run while the 3rd completes the bike portion)  NOTE:  Ages 10 & 11 are limited to complete a maximum of 1 segment on a team.
  • Aqua-Run - Youth ages 4-11
  • Registration pricing are based on 3 tiers.  Get the best rate if you sign up before November 16th!

​Racing begins:  Sunday, January 25, 2026     **Heats throughout the day;
